A Jazz concert with the Emilie Conway Jazz Quartet


Join Emilie Conway and her band, in the cozy Christmasy setting of Bewley's Cafe Theatre for classic Winter Jazz. Holiday classics like Winter Wonderland to Sleigh Ride to Coinnle na nAingeal, original poems, stories and sparkling new arrangements created especially for this concert. 


Emilie is an award winning Dublin-born vocal jazz artist, composer and lyricist. She blends her own compositions, spoken word/poetry, with improvised and composed music. Her work focuses on 3 areas: jazz and art/literature, jazz and disability and jazz and children. Her work in jazz and disability recently attracted attention from the United Nations and she was featured in an article by the UN for International Jazz Day. Emilie's commission with the National Gallery to respond to the work of legendary modern artist, Piet Mondrian is due for release soon!


Emilie's long-standing band members are among the country's leading jazz musicians and have worked with the likes of Mary Coughlin, Nigel Mooney, and Louis Stewart, Loah, The Dubliners and many, many more.
