YOUR VISIT

Bewley's Cafe Theatre is famous for its warm welcome and personal touch. We hope you will enjoy your visit to the theatre and to Bewley's Historic Cafe.

Bewley's Cafe Theatre is an intimate theatre venue located on the second floor of the historic Bewley's Cafe in the middle of Dublin's main Southside shopping thoroughfare, Grafton Street.

We present lunchtime shows from Monday to Saturday at 1pm. Doors open at 12.50pm, the performance starts at 1pm and is over by approximately 2pm leaving the rest of the day to enjoy other Dublin attractions.

We have also introduced a new SOIRÉE performance, which takes place on the second Thursday of each run at 7pm.

Our venue seating is cabaret-style with tables and chairs. While we occasionally reserve tables for groups, it is generally free seating and we encourage people to share tables and enjoy the social atmosphere!

(Note: we ask groups to arrive in good time in order to seat them together)

The repertoire ranges from classic one-acts showcasing the wit of Shaw, Wilde and O'Casey to the very best of new Irish writing. The programme has a strong emphasis on comedy and theatricality and a visit is guaranteed to brighten up any afternoon.
