BRAMBLES

by Cara Christie

Claire crash-lands from Cork into her sister Holly’s flat on a mission to dig up the past. But Holly doesn’t have time for Claire, she is too busy building her own family’s future with her partner Glen.

An exploration of the stories that shape us, through two sisters who have grown apart, learning to find their way back together.

Inspired by Christie’s own family, Brambles is a lived, felt experience, exploring the messy, complex bonds between neurodiverse and neurotypical siblings.

Brambles is a piece of theatre that weaves intimate storytelling and humour into a profoundly affecting experience for audiences.

“Very emotional, more emotional than I thought it would be. It’s a story that resonates with lots of families not just in Ireland but the world. And the Bram Stoker bit was genius” Audience reaction
